Dec 21 Kwanzaa Celebration – Event Recap!

This year’s Kwanzaa Celebration was presented by the African-American Celebration of the Arts and sponsored by Focus On Renewal.  The event took place on Thursday, December 28 at the Father Ryan Arts Center.  Our event included a Black Vendor Market, crafts for kids, performances from Balafon West African Dance Ensemble and African Drumming, a unity dinner, and a presentation of the Kwanzaa principles.  Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in a Community Painting Designed by Beanie Paints, LLC.
