Focus on Renewal’s Family Foundations is an Early Head Start program. Early Head Start is a home-based program that focuses on child health and development, parent-child attachment and family support services to low-income families with children from birth to age three, as well as expectant women. Staff, parents and children meet in their homes each week with an emphasis on partnership in planning experiences that promote physical, social and emotional well-being. Opportunities to attend twice a month socializations and monthly parent meetings are also an important part of our program.
Our team works with parents to help build strong relationships within the family. Typically, we’ll meet in the home once a week and augment that one-on-one work with playgroups and social activities at our site along with monthly parent meetings.
FOR Family Foundations Early Head Start emphasizes engagement and the development of positive relationships between parents and children.
When kids have a solid emotional, intellectual and social foundation, they’ll do well in group settings, teams and school. These early interactions set up a lifetime of success. For children and parents.
