The 5 French Classic Mother Sauces sous session tutorial was taught by Mark Snyder from C2E2L (Cook 2 Eat 2 Live). The 5 Mother sauces are the basis of all classical sauces and are Bechamel, Hollandaise, Veloute, Tomate, and Espangnole. Students learned the value of patience in the kitchen while perfecting their sauce techniques. Mark will be serving as one of the Judges for this year’s Steel Chef Live cook off competition on Monday March 27.
