Mission Madness is a Win for Focus On Renewal!

Contest winner chooses Focus On Renewal as the recipient of funds!

On Wednesday, June 5, local insurance broker, Babb Inc. visited Focus On Renewal to present Executive Director, Dr. Diona Jones, and FOR Board VP, Tracey Lewis with a special check for $2,500.

The donation came as a result of Babb’s participation in ESPN’s Mission Madness contest during March Madness.  The contest is nationwide and free to join.  Participants join a team (in this case the Babb Team) and create brackets for playoffs for both men’s and women’s college basketball teams.  The winner of both the men and women’s bracket win $500 each, and $2,500 is awarded to the charity of their choice.   The Babb Team member who won the women’s bracket chose Focus On Renewal as their charity.  The team member had worked with FOR in the past and is close with Father Ryan.
